They left just next to Jumeirah Beach Park at 7:07AM and returned to Sunset beach at 11:17AM. Conditions on the day were perfect with the exceptoin of a slight cross-shore during the last 5km stretch. Along the trip they were lucky to see a pod of dolphins and severals sting rays amongst the shallows between the islands.

The event was a great success and we would officially like to make the 'Around the 'World' paddle a annual event each December. Stand Up Paddling is an amazing water sport and growing quickly in Dubai. We invite anyone who would like to join us next year and help to raise money for the amazing work done by Surf Aid International. As you're all aware, Surf Dubai provide SUP lessons, rent and sell all SUP equipment and are here to get you in the water as much as possible. Our new website will be up in a few days and will have full details on how to get involved!

The whole team at Surf Dubai would like to thank: All of you who came to the Charity evening at D.O.S.C, all our sponsors (Quiksilver,MT Clothing,ACT Marine,Cirl8) who provided equipment or donated prizes and made the event possible, all Surfers of Dubai, all our FRIENDS and FAMILY who gave us constant support and kept our bellies full through the training, Nakheel for granting us permission and supervision to complete the paddle, and finally all the press (City7, The National, Time Out, Gulf News, and The Stand Up Journal) who help raise awareness!
